About the Area

The Hawkesbury District

Located just one hour drive nor-west along the M2 Motorway from Sydney CBD, the Hawkesbury district has long been an escape from the stress of city living. This pretty provincial area was settled in 1794 when 22 settlers were issued land grants along the banks of the Hawkesbury River.

Today many early architectural structures and historic landmarks are still preserved in the area including Australia’s oldest surviving church and Australia’s oldest pub. Enveloped by the Blue Mountains, Wollemi National Park and Yengo National Park, the Hawkesbury is an untouched insight into Australian Colonial history and a magic place to live.

The Nepean District

The Nepean district is one hours drive west of Sydney’s CBD via the M4 motorway. Rural settlement along the Nepean River began in 1789 and today a rich heritage remains. It is a municipal of open spaces and gorgeous native bush land, curtained by the cool Blue Mountains. The Nepean Gorge running from Wallacia to Penrith is a spectacular natural sight.

The International Regatta Centre, recent venue for the Olympic Rowing and Kayaking events, is now open to the public. The Nepean offers an array of recreational opportunities to fun lovers including cable water skiing, go kart racing, golf, equestrian events, in-door skating, rock climbing and more. With a reputation for friendly hospitality, the Nepean offers a relaxing lifestyle with all of the conveniences of city living.

The Hills District

The Hills District is a unique combination of country and city living. Set in a semi-rural environment, the city is only a 35 minute trip via the M2 motorway. Baulkham Hills Shire is one of the larger and fastest growing Local Government areas in Sydney. Employment and business development is successfully illustrated in the Hills with benchmark initiatives such as Norwest Business Park.

The Hills district has something to offer everyone from those who love nature, to those who like a touch of glamour with superb restaurants and modern shopping facilities. Play golf at Riverside Oaks international standard course or enjoy a picnic in a state forest on the banks of the Hawkesbury River.

The Central Coast

The Central Coast is located North of Sydney’s CBD, about a 1 hour leisurely drive by the M1 and is a mix of bays and inlets, pristine beaches, lakes and lush hinterland.

Gosford is the central business hub with Ettalong Beach, Avoca Beach, Terrigal and The Entrance making great holiday destinations.  The area also has world class restaurants and some of the best whale watching platforms.

The Wyong area offers lush wooded valleys and its location gives you easy access to the beautiful Yarramalong and Dooralong Valleys.  Whether you’re looking for acreage or residential, the Central Coast has it all.
